LA TO GRADUATE TEN ON SATURDAY

    Ten Langford Area seniors will receive diplomas during the school’s 114th Commencement set for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
    LA graduates Elianna Darling, Jordis Jenner, and Jake Samson will present the Senior Honor Presentation. As Senior Class President, Ryder Smith, will give the welcome. Superintendent Shad Storley will recognize honor students, present the Senior Class and the scholarship awards, and President of the Board of Education Jennifer Gustafson will present diplomas.
    The Langford Area Choir will perform, “Truly Brave” and the LA Concert Band will play the senior class’s  favorite pep band tune, “Jenny,” as well as the processional and recessional.
    Elianna Darling, Jordis Jenner, and Jake Samson will graduate with honors. Other members of the graduating class include Rennan Bruns, Jonas Friedman, Caleb Mertz, Cassidy Nelson, Morgan Ostlie, Gianna Rodriguez, and Ryder Smith. 
    The Langford Area Class of 2025 adopted “You can’t control the wind, but you can adjust the sail” as its class motto, the yellow marigold as the class flower, and maroon, black and white as the class colors.
    The last day of school for seniors was Tuesday while other students will be dismissed for the summer at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20.
