NO SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION FOR B-H OR LA

Some Changes But No Contested Races
NO SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION FOR B-H OR LA

There will be no school board elections next month in either of Marshall County’s public school districts, as all open seats were filled by unopposed candidates.
In the Langford Area School District, two board members whose terms were expiring—Brandon Alberts and Krissa Samson—submitted petitions. Current board member Bill Jensen did not submit a petition, while Dan Ogren did and will join the board in July. All board members will serve three year terms.
The Britton-Hecla School District will see one change in board membership. Board president Troy Knecht and member Kurt Zuehlke both filed petitions to retain their seats and will continue serving three-year terms. Audrey Schuller, who currently serves on the board, did not seek re-election. Dan Tracy of Lake City submitted a petition for the open seat and will join the board in July for a three-year term.
Because all seats were uncontested, no election is required.
