DAVIDSON, BRASSFIELD B-H ATHLETES OF YEAR
Sterling Brassfield and Dashel Davidson were named Britton-Hecla’s Athletes of the Year at an awards presentation held at the B-H Arena Monday evening.

    The naming of the Athletes of the Year and the annual Friend of Football Award highlighted the athletic awards presented at a ceremony held at the Britton-Hecla school on Monday evening.
    Seniors Dashel Davidson and Sterling Brassfield were recognized as this year’s top athletes, while the Friend of Football Award was presented to the Zuehlke Family in honor of the late Trevor Zuehlke who passed away last fall.
    Following are the special awards and letterwinners in each of the sports during the 2024-25 school year.

FOOTBALL
    Special Awards: Bryce Hawkinson - team MVP, most valuable offensive back, coaches hustle award; Graham Fosness - most valuable offensive lineman, single season forced fumble record (5); Jaxon Zuehlke – defense MVP, most valuable defensive lineman, single season sack record (9), Be Brave Award; Jace Rein – single season record for touchdown passes (20); Dashel Davidson – most valuable defensive back/linebacker, coaches hustle award; Lofton Heer – MVP special teams; Bryce Heitkamp – most valuable offensive scout player, MVP for junior varsity offense and defense, coaches hustle award; Canyon Brassfield and Colton Chapin, newcomers of year; Kendall Knudson – most valuable defensive scout player, coaches hustle award; Will Richter, coaches hustle award
