GOEDERT VISITS WHITE HOUSE

GOEDERT VISITS WHITE HOUSE

Dallas Goedert shakes hands with President Donald Trump during the Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House on Monday. The Britton-Hecla graduate and Super Bowl-winning tight end joined a group of players, coaches, and executives in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the team’s recent championship win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Goedert, who played a key role in the Eagles’ postseason success, was part of the delegation honored by Trump during a ceremony that also featured the president endorsing the controversial but effective “tush push” play. Trump praised the play’s uniqueness and urged the NFL to keep it, calling it “exciting and different.” Goedert made a trip to Britton a few weeks ago.
