Two local young women represented the county at the State Junior Snow Queen Festival held this past weekend in Aberdeen. Adaline Larson (left), the Langford Area Junior Queen, and Chellon Pruitt, the Britton Area Junior Queen, participated in the event. The title of State Junior Snow Queen went to Everleigh Kirk of Sisseton. Ava Bjerke of Webster was named first runner-up, while Amyah Wilson of Northwestern took home both second runner-up and the Miss Congeniality title. Next weekend, the senior queens will take the stage in Aberdeen. Representing Britton Area is Annika Tank, while Jordis Jenner will represent Langford Area.
