FOUR ON TO STATE INTERP

Britton-Hecla High School qualified four entries for the State Oral Interpretation Festival Dec. 6 and 7 in Sturgis. Oliver Moeckly will be entered in both oratory and duo with partner Jerod Nebrida.  Paisley Bray will compete in poetry, and Carter Chapin qualified in storytelling.  Moeckly, Nebrida, Bray, and Chapin teamed up with Braydon Casey and are alternates in reader’s theatre.  Lillian Boyko represented the team in humorous, and Caitlyn Casey was in the serious category.  The team won third place in a close race for Region IV Class A champs among nine area schools.  Great Plains Lutheran won and Aberdeen Roncalli placed second.
