LA NETTER ON ALL-LRC SQUAD

Langford Area senior Eliana Darling was one of 14 Lake Region Conference volleyball players earning postseason recognition.
    Darling was named to the league’s Second Team.
    First Team honorees included seniors Kyleigh Schopp and Jordyn Jensen, Warner; juniors Ella Boekelheide and Ashley Haven, Northwestern; senior Carley Cotton, Faulkton; junior Marley Guthmiller, Ipswich; and freshman Arianna Johnson, Aberdeen Christian.
    Other second team selections were junior McKenna Leidholt, Warner; sophomore Tara Blachford, Northwestern; senior Anna Aesoph, Faulkton; sophomore Jolie Fogarty, Aberdeen Christian; junior Brianna Geditz, Ipswich; and junior Amree VanderVorst, North Central.

Poll: END OR RETAIN EXPANDED MEDICAID COVERAGE? South Dakota voters will decide in November on a proposed constitutional amendment that would end the state’s expanded Medicaid coverage if the federal government’s share of funding for the expansion falls below 90%. The expansion, approved by voters in 2022, provides Medicaid eligibility to certain adults ages 19 to 64 with incomes up to the federal limit established by the constitutional amendment. The proposed amendment would remove that expanded coverage if the federal funding level drops below 90%. If the election were held today, how would you vote?
