B-H BOARD PREVIEW: MORE POLICY CHANGES

    The Britton-Hecla Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, with more policy updates and personnel matters on the agenda.
    Several policy revisions will be up for a second reading, followed by potential approval. These include updates to Business Office Hours, Enforcement Unit, Restrictions on Employees Receiving Gratuities, Grievance Procedure, Locker Room Supervision, Open Enrollment, Early Graduation, Class Rank, and Activity Trips. A proposal to rescind the district’s Opioid Overdose Prevention policy, which the board deems unnecessary, will also be discussed.
    New policy recommendations from the Policy Committee and district administration will receive their first reading during the meeting. 
    The board will consider approving the district’s Annual Financial Report and amending the mileage reimbursement rate to 67 cents per mile. Additionally, the board is set to approve various working agreements. Other agenda items include discussing an ATM agreement and setting the date for the board’s retreat.
    The board may also enter executive session to address personnel and student matters, as noted on the agenda.
