4-Hers Take Part in Horse Show

The 2024 Day/Marshall Horse show was held in Webster SD on July 1. Between both counties, there were 19 participants. Marshall County Results were as follows

Senior Western Showmanship: Kaylee Biel- Red, Hunter Biel- Purple (Grand Champion). Junior Western Showmanship: Kaylee Carlson- Blue, Lily Mundt- Purple (Grand Champion), Jasmine Biel- Purple (Reserve Champion), Beginner Western Showmanship: Ella Mundt- Purple (Grand Champion), Elise Biel- Red.

 Senior Western Horsemanship: Kaylee Biel- Red, Hunter Biel- Red. Junior Western Horsemanship: Lily Mundt- Purple, Jasmine Biel- Red. Beginner Western Horsemanship: Ella Mundt- Purple, Elise Biel- Blue.

 Senior Ranch Riding: Kaylee Biel- Blue, Hunter Biel- Red. Junior Ranch Riding: Lily Mundt- Purple, Jasmine Biel- Blue.

 Senior Trail: Kaylee Biel- Blue, Hunter Biel- Red, Junior Trail: Lily Mundt- Blue, Jasmine Biel- Red. Beginner Trail: Ella Mundt- Purple, Elise Biel- Blue.

Poll: END OR RETAIN EXPANDED MEDICAID COVERAGE? South Dakota voters will decide in November on a proposed constitutional amendment that would end the state’s expanded Medicaid coverage if the federal government’s share of funding for the expansion falls below 90%. The expansion, approved by voters in 2022, provides Medicaid eligibility to certain adults ages 19 to 64 with incomes up to the federal limit established by the constitutional amendment.
