Truss Pros Golf Winner

Truss Pros carded an eightunder-par 60 to take top honors in the annual Britton Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament held at the Britton Country Club on Friday.

The foursome of Luke and Tena Kraft and Craig and Angela Grupe topped the 17-team field in the scramble event. HealthFirst Chiropractic finished second in the first flight with a 62, and the Marshall County Journal was third at 63.

Frohling Law was the second flight winner on a tiebreaker with a 66, CDJ Electric, Plumbing & Heating was second at 66, and Troy Dahme Trucking third, also at 66.

Holland’s #2 won the third flight with a 70, Bug Patrol was second at 73, and Marshall County Healthcare Center #1 was third with a 78.

Two golfers were double winners in the pin prize competition. Ally Phillips had the longest drive for women on hole 3 and was also closest to the pin on number 8. Jay Kruse made the longest putt on hole four (27-10) and was closest to the pin for the men on number nine (14 inches).

Other pin prize winners were Jameson Peters, longest drive for men on hole two, and Dani Dahme, longest putt for women on hole 6 (133). There was also a $10,000 prize offered for a hole in one on number five which was not claimed. HH Designs was judged the Best Dressed team.
