Region In Watertown This Weekend

A total of 22 of 24 Britton youth wrestlers placed among the top eight at the District 7 tournament in Clark last weekend to advance to the regional meet in Watertown this coming weekend.

The top three placers in each weight division in the regional tourney will qualify for the state meet set for Rapid City March 15-17.

Earning first place district finishes were Booker Hardy, Emersyn Eimers, and Jace Morris. Placing second were Hudson Morris, Oliver Suther, Breven Schmieg, Corbin Dawson, Henry Kilker, Emsley Eimers, and Blayden Downs.

Thirdplacefinishersincluded Hayze Deutsch, Kandrick Jones, Crue Jones, and Kylan Sasker. Taking fourth place were Yadid Ortega Quezada, Jarrik Jones, Carter Grobe, and Max Suther. Colton Biel was fifth, Corven Schmieg and Jaxon Guy sixth, and Julian Beltran seventh. Tripp Hagen and Briggs Hagen also participated in the district event.
