Area Youth Wrestlers See Success At Local Tourney

            Britton Youth Wrestling hosted a tournament on Sunday with 170 wrestlers competing, including 40 local matmen, and also participated in a Northwestern-Warner Tournament on Saturday.

            Eight wrestlers earned first place finishes on Sunday.  They included Emersyn Eimers, Colton Biel, Julian Beltran, Blayden Downs, Oliver Suther, Jace Morris, Brooks Taylor, and Corbin Dawson.  Second place finishers Emsley Eimers, Logan Landreth, Gannon Peters, Roper Hansen, Kandrick Jones, Breven Schmieg, Kylan Sasker, Jarrik Jones, Crue Jones, and Hayze Deutsch.

            Matmen placing third included Tripp Hagen, Briggs Hagen, Corven Schmieg, Rowan Armour, Jaxton Hegeseth, Booker Hardy, Henry Raabe, Axel Styers, and Kyson Waagen.  Finishing fourth were Hendrix Stutelberg, Hudson Morris, Andrew Bolzer, Effi Schneider, Sooki Schneider, Knolan Mix, Kaiden Mix, Kolton Mix, Aksel Streier, Dezel Styers,  Jaxon Guy, and  Charles Addison.

            At the Northwestern-Warner Tournament Breven Schmieg and Emersyn Eimers won titles.  Kandrick Jones, Crue Jones, and Carter Nelson placed second, and Emsley Eimers  and  Corven Schmieg were third.
