At a special board meeting on Tuesday night, the Langford Area School Board had three action items following an executive session. They named an interview committee for the superintendent search consisting of Board President Jennifer Gustafson and board members Brandon Alberts and Krissa Samson, along with Principal Mary Hosford and Business Manager Ginger Olson.
According to Gustafson, the committee will be interviewing candidates over the course of this week. They also set another special board meeting for next Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in anticipation of a candidate to recommend and hire. The president said, “We are excited about the candidate pool and look forward to the interviews,”
In other business during the meeting, the board also approved a policy regarding Premier Online Academy for first reading. The second reading will come at regular board meeting in February.
