The celebration of life for Jeffrey Heinrich will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Marshall County VFW Post #3507 at 718 Main St. in Britton, SD.

Jeffrey Jay Heinrich was born May 13, 1960 in Ellendale, ND to Gottfried and Erna (Fischer) Heinrich. Jeff lived in Ellendale until 1962 with his family until they moved to Hecla, SD where he spent a majority of his youth. In 1974, they moved to Aberdeen, SD where he graduated from Central High School in 1979. Following graduation he got a job at a glass company.

He moved to Yuma, AZ and in 1986 he met Cheryl and baby James. They went on to have three more children, Leslie, Jason and Kristi. They moved back to Aberdeen in 1990 and later married in July 1991. In 1993 they moved to Rapid City, SD. Jeff continued to work in the commercial glass industry.

In 2008 Jeff moved back to Hecla and worked in Aberdeen. He later moved to Britton and worked at Horton’s and Precision Wall. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Jeff passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Wheatcrest Hills in Britton, at the age of 63.

He is survived by his children: Leslie (Dallas) Heinrich of Aberdeen, Jason (Estefania) Heinrich of Yuma, AZ and Kristi (Nick) Heinrich of Britton; his brother, Rod (Kathy) Heinrich of Hecla; his sister, Marsha McComis of Parma Heights, OH; his grandchildren: Logan, Alexis, Riley, Lilian and Lennox; one niece, four nephews and one uncle.

He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Bill; his son, James; and many aunts and uncles.
