Another Good Dousing

The weather Sunday developed into something that in recent months has been a rarity. An all-day rain shower for most of the area. It steadily rained from morning until well into the night. Much of the area reported around two inches of rain after the soaking. But some areas got substantially more than that. Folks around Clear Lake, Lake City, Eden and Langford measured around three inches. And weather reporters around Hillhead and Roslyn even recorded five or more inches.

Last week, Thursday also brought some significant weather. A strong thunderstorm blew through the area, resulting in some short-lived heavy rain and even some downed branches and trees.
