Thirteen seniors received diplomas at the 112th Langford Area Commencement held on Saturday.

Honor students Laney Widener, Montana Marlow, Jesse Keough, Avery West, Jackson Bahr, and Parker Holler gave a Senior Honor Presentation titled, “By the Numbers.” The speakers shared funny numbers-driven anecdotes about their classmates and also told about their future plans.

In his address, new Superintendent Shad Storley reminded the graduates that it “takes a village” to be successful. He invited all current, former and future educators to stand, and noted that teachers are an important part of that village. Storley also asked the grads to think about how time flies and asked them to use their time wisely. He wrapped up by noting, “Time flies when you’re having fun.”

Storley also presented seniors with their diplomas and presented scholarship awards. Board President Jennifer Gustafson also helped hand out diplomas.
