Britton-Hecla was finally able to get back on the track at Webster on Friday.

Placers At Howard Wood

The Langford Area track squad had a busy weekend, splitting time between a Friday meet in Sisseton and the Howard Wood Relays in Sioux Falls Friday and Saturday, and the Lions brought home three top finishers from the prestigious Sioux Falls meet.

State Track Meet Changes

Britton-Hecla’s Delaney Pruitt tossed the shot put in recent track action. The local thinclads competed in the Redfield Relays on Thursday and will be back in action in Webster on Friday and will travel to Milbank next Tuesday.

State Track Meet Changes

Despite hearing criticism from member schools, on Tuesday the board of directors of the South Dakota High School Activities Association approved a compressed schedule for this year’s state track meet. The meet will be held on May 28 and 29.
