The Britton-Hecla boys basketball team earned its second win of the season, stopping Tri-State 44-40 on Saturday, while dropping decisions to Aberdeen Roncalli 59-44 and Leola-Frederick 58-20.

Hardy Wins 285-Pound Crown
Britton-Hecla’s 285-pounder Tucker Hardy battled for control in recent wrestling action. Hardy defeated two state-ranked wrestlers last weekend on the way to a fourth place finish.
Hawkinson, Hardy Earn Top Finishes
Britton-Hecla’s Tiyanna Schott muscled up a shot over a Warner defender on Thursday and the senior led the Lady Braves to their third win against Waverly-South Shore on Saturday with 15 points and 10 rebounds, including a personal best nine offensive boards.
Britton-Hecla’s girls basketball team picked up its third win of the season on Saturday, downing Waverly-South Shore 57-33 but fell to Warner on Thursday 51-23.
