Lady Lions Roar Back - Twice

Langford Area’s volleyball team trailed two sets to one in a pair of hard-fought matches last week but battled back to win them both and boost its season mark to 14-6 heading into a match with Faulkton last night Tuesday.

Lions Get First Victory

Langford Area senior Ben Gustafson ran for six touchdowns, passed for another, passed for six PAT conversions, kicked an extra point, and added a pass interception to lead the Lions to their first win of the season on Friday. Teammate Jesse Keough was about to execute a block against Waverly-South Shore to spring Gustafson for some of his 170 rushing yards.

Lions Get First Victory

The Langford Area football team exploded for 61 points to defeat Waverly-South Shore 61-31 on Friday and pick up its first win of the season.
