Britton-Hecla freshman Daniel Person came on strong in the late stages of the cross country season and earned a spot in the Class B state meet to be held at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls on Saturday.
Tynan Bennett of Britton wasn’t expecting much when he competed in the 23rd Annual Dixie Grand American Trap Shoot in Bostic, NC, but he brought home plenty.
The Britton-Hecla volleyball squad had a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde type of week, turning in a top performance in a straight-set sweep over Waubay-Summit last week Tuesday and then not having much go right against Milbank on Thursday in a straight-set loss.
It’s been a while, but Thursday night one of the two football teams in Marshall County will have earned bragging rights for the 2021 season
