The Langford Area boys basketball team rebounded from a one-sided loss to Groton Area last week Tuesday with three straight wins to boost its season mark to 10-5.
The Britton-Hecla wrestling squad wrapped up its regular season at home with a 54-6 dual win over Iroquois- Doland and fell to Groton Area 48-18 on Monday and will now point towards the state Middle School tournament in Pierre this weekend and the Region 1B tournament set for Britton on Saturday, Feb. 19.
The Britton-Hecla gymnastics team picked a good time to post its best score of the season, scoring 131.875 points to qualify seventh among eight teams advancing to the state meet this weekend in Mitchell.
The Britton-Hecla wrestling squad competed in the Sioux Valley Quadrangular on Thursday and the Groton Area Tournament on Saturday and is heading down the home stretch of its regular season.
