Lady Braves ‘Competed’
The Britton-Hecla volleyball squad’s season mark of 8-19 wasn’t what the Lady Braves’ were hoping for, but Coach Megan Ochsner was pleased with her team’s work ethic this season and the improvement shown during the year.
B-H, LA Netters Fall In 1B
The Britton-Hecla and Langford Area volleyball teams both fell in quarterfinal play of the Region 1B tournament last week Tuesday.
Brian Rabenberg, a 1987 Britton High school graduate and 1992 Moorhead State University grad, was recently named to the University of Minnesota Moorhead Athletic Hall of Fame for his track accomplishments. He still holds the school outdoor conference meet record at 7-0 and exhibited his form in this photo.

Over three decades ago there was a high flyer from Britton that high jumped seven feet and was a runner-up finisher in the national NAIA track meet for Moorhead State University.
B-H Gridders Fall In 9AA
Britton-Hecla battled unbeaten Howard in the opening half of the Class 9AA football playoffs on Thursday but the third-seeded hosts exploded for 21 third quarter points to put the game away on the way to a 48-8 victory.
