Langford Area sixth grader Brooke Dwight completed her cross country season last week Tuesday at the Aberdeen Central Middle School Invite, finishing eighth in a field of 19 sixth grade girls, most of them Aberdeen runners.

Britton-Hecla senior co-captain Trevor Zuehlke started at linebacker in the second half of his final home game against Warner on Friday. Zuehlke collapsed from a traumatic brain injury a year ago against Warner and is still in recovery.
