Winter Seasons Begin

Attendance Limited At B-H Events

The Britton-Hecla wrestling squad kicked off the winter sports season this past week, and the B-H boys and girls basketball teams and gymnastics squad swing into action this weekend.

The Lady Braves will be the first to host a home contest on Friday when Groton comes to town, but the Britton-Hecla Arena will have a little different feel this year due to COV1D-19 concerns. Just six fans per player, coach, student manager, or cheerleader (anyone listed on program) will be allowed to attend any BrittonHecla athletic events this winter. The same rule will apply to visiting teams. There also will be no concessions sold at contests this season and masks are required.

Coach Casey Erickson’s boys’ squad travels to Groton for its season opener on Saturday and the boys and girls teams will play a twin bill at Wilmot on Tuesday.
