Tough Week For Braves Cagers

The Britton-Hecla boys basketball team had some tough sledding against some strong foes during the past week, dropping two of three contests.

Class A Lennox (7-3) rolled to a 70-32 win in the Dak 12-NEC Clash in Madison on Saturday, the Braves stopped Redfield-Doland 75-61 on Friday, and Leola-Frederick (9-2) won 64-55 last week Tuesday. Games with Aberdeen Christian on Monday and Sisseton on Tuesday were both postponed due to weather. The Aberdeen Christian game has been rescheduled for Feb. 19 and Sisseton on Feb. 21.

The Braves, now 7-6, played at Sisseton last night Tuesday. On Friday Waverly-South Shore comes to town for a throw-back game played in Amacher Auditorium with the junior varsity contest set for 6:30 p.m., and Tuesday the Braves travel to Milbank for a 6:30 p.m. JV start.
