Thinclads At Sisseton

Britton-Hecla was able to participate in its second outdoor meet of the season at the Sisseton Twilight Meet on Friday.

Yesterday (Tuesday) the local thinclads hosted the Orville Pfitzer Relays, their only home meet of the season. This Friday Coach Stephanie Symens’ squad wraps up its regular season schedule at Hamlin for the Northeast Conference meet beginning at 11 a.m. The Region 1B meet is set for Thursday, May 16 in Groton.

“It was a beautiful day to run on Friday and turned out to be a nice meet,” said Symens. “We had some troubles with some handoffs in our boys relays and were working to fix those for our home meet. I am happy to see how the boys and girls are progressing even with the weird season we have had.”
