Britton-Hecla’s McKaelyn Zuehlke worked to create some space on this drive to the basket in recent girls basketball play. The Lady Braves have a break until traveling to Groton Area on Jan. 2 and don’t have another home game until Deuel comes to town on Jan. 23.

Lady Braves Led At Halftime

Britton-Hecla led 13-11 at halftime but Wilmot outscored the Lady Braves 14-5 in the third period and then exploded for 21 fourth quarter points to post a 46-29 victory in girls basketball action on Tuesday.

The Lady Braves, 0-3 on the year, played at Clark-Willow Lake on Friday to wrap up their pre-Christmas schedule.

Jenna Werner notched 10 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, and had four steals and three assists to lead the Lady Braves. Alyssa James added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
