Records Don’t Mean Much In Region 1B Field

First Round On Monday

Britton-Hecla’s boys basketball team split its final two games of the regular season and stands at 7-13, but records don’t look like they are going to mean much heading into the Region 1B tournament that begins in Webster on Monday.

Aberdeen Christian, currently ranked number one in the Class B state poll, has been the dominant team in the region, posting an 18-2 record and earning the top seed. But the Knights trailed current eighth seed Langford Area in the fourth quarter last week before posting the win. The rest of the regional field has been taking turns beating each other all season.
