Lions Win Away From Dome

Semifinal At Harding County On Saturday

Langford Area will be hoping for a repeat performance when the Lions travel to Harding County for a Class 9B semifinal football playoff game on Saturday. A year ago Coach Paul Raasch’s crew rolled past Harding County 52-28 in the Dakota Dome behind a state record 350 yards rushing by Lincoln Gibbs and another 148 yards from Chance Olson. This time around the top-seeded and unbeaten Ranchers (10- 0) will get the fourth-seeded Lions (9-1) on their home turf for the 6 p.m. matchup. “Harding County poses some problems,” said Raasch. “They are big and physical and yet can throw the ball very well.”
