Lady Braves Fall In Holiday Tilt At Arena

Britton-Hecla trailed by just five at halftime but Wyndmere-Lidgerwood, ND, pulled away in the final two periods to post a 37-24 win on Saturday.

The loss dropped the Lady Braves top 1-4 on the year heading into a twin bill with the boys’ team on Friday with Tiospa Zina. The girls varsity contest will be played at 5:30 p.m. following a boys C game. The girls will also host Aberdeen Christian on Monday with a JV game starting at 5:15 p.m. and the varsity contest at 6:30 p.m.

Jaidyn Roehr netted 10 points, including a pair of treys, and Peris Fellows pulled down a whopping 20 rebounds for the Lady Braves. May Hagenson added six boards. The Lady Braves struggled in the shooting department, hitting just 21 percent of their shots.
