Lady Braves Drop Two Matches

Britton-Hecla’s volleyball squad dropped a pair of matches during the past week.

Waubay-Summit and Milbank both came up with sweeps of the local netters. Last night Tuesday Coach Emily Hrabik’s squad hosted Aberdeen Christian. On Thursday the Lady Braves travel to Aberdeen Roncalli (JV start 5 p.m.) and on Tuesday play at Langford Area (JV start 6:30 p.m.).

“We just need consistency all around to be successful,” stressed Hrabik. “We haven’t had many games where we are “on” all across the board (passes, sets, attacks). I know the girls are capable of it because I see sparks where we are all connecting like we need to, but our ‘sparks’ need to be more consistent throughout each set. All this comes with time, experience and tons and tons of reps.”
