Lady Braves Drop Pair

Britton-Hecla’s girls basketball team dropped a pair of games during the past week and now faces a rugged schedule to wrap up regular season play.

Coach MJ Hrabik’s crew played at Aberdeen Christian last night Tuesday, travels to Milbank Thursday, plays at Tri-State in Rosholt on Friday, goes to Sisseton on Monday, and hosts Hamlin on Tuesday as part of a twin bill with the boys.

Then next week Thursday the Lady Braves are on the road at Aberdeen Roncalli and on Friday, Feb. 15, host Langford before prepping for the Region 1B tournament that gets underway on Monday, Feb. 18 in Webster. Four of those games were rescheduled due to weather, and the end result is a backbreaking schedule of nine games in just 14 days.
