LA Football Squad Wins ‘Home’ Game On the Road At Estelline
The Langford Area football team took care of business on Monday with a 44-8 win over Estelline-Hendricks and has put itself in position to earn a home playoff game.
Weather threw a wrench into the Lions’ plans last week, forcing a postponement of Friday’s game. Langford Area also had to give up its home field because of muddy conditions and traveled to Estelline for the contest.
This week Friday Coach Paul Raasch’s squad, now 5-2, is looking to for a victory at Waverly-South Shore to assure a home game in the first round of the Class 9B playoffs that begin on Thursday, Oct. 24.
