Braves Seek Return To Throne
Both Britton-Hecla and Canistota-Freeman will be seeking to return to the Class 9A throne when they clash at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium on the South Dakota State University campus on Thursday at 11 a.m.
The Pride claimed the 9A championship a year ago in just the second year of their co-op, while Britton-Hecla defeated unbeaten Corsica-Stickney to win the 2017 crown.
The Braves have compiled a perfect 10-0 season and earned the top seed in Class 9A. Canistota-Freeman lost just once to unbeaten Class 9AA finalist Viborg-Hurley (46-20).
