South Dakota continued to show its dominance in the BB Gun world during the 54th Annual Daisy National BB Gun tournament, one of the most prestigious BB gun tournaments in the world held in Rogers, AR, last week.

The dominance began on day one when the written safety test was given and all three South Dakota teams - Marshall County 4-H Sharpshooters from Britton, the Humboldt Sharp Shooters and the Pierre Junior Shooters – all tied for the top spot with a score of 496, each team missing just two questions. Coach Mike Kraft said, “Our kids had no clue where we were sitting, they knew by comparing answers that they had done well, but they also knew that the other South Dakota teams would come in strong also.
