Britton-Hecla senior Emma Storley powered this spike past a pair of Deuel defenders in volleyball action on Thursday. The Lady Braves are in the midst of five straight matches on the road and won’t be back home until Oct. 17.
B-H Netters Oh-So-Close
Although the win-loss record doesn’t reflect it, Britton-Hecla volleyball coach Emily Hrabik thinks her team is on the right track.
The Lady Braves, now 0-12, came oh-so-close to their first victory of the season, taking Wilmot to five sets and losing the tiebreaker 15-12 on Monday. Hrabik’s crew also dropped straight set decisions to Deuel and Waverly-South Shore during the past week.
This week the local netters travel to Redfield-Doland on Thursday and play at Waubay-Summit on Tuesday.
