Britton-Hecla senior co-captain Trevor Zuehlke started at linebacker in the second half of his final home game against Warner on Friday. Zuehlke collapsed from a traumatic brain injury a year ago against Warner and is still in recovery.

Travel To Ipswich On Thursday

Unbeaten Warner piled up a big 255-35 advantage on the ground on the way to a 39-0 shutout over Britton-Hecla in the regular season football finale on Friday.

The Braves will take a 4-4 mark into a first-round playoff contest at Ipswich-Edmunds Central (6-2) on Friday, while Warner hosts North Border (3-5). After first-round play teams will be re-seeded and quarterfinals will be played the following Thursday, Oct. 29

Ḃritton-Hecla and Ipswich-Edmunds Central have played just one common opponent this season. The Tigers also lost to Warner but just by a single point, 25-24.
