B-H Grid Coach Retiring
Twenty-two years ago Pat Renner first stood on the sidelines as a Britton-Hecla assistant coach for Head Coach Fran Reusink.
Thursday, after guiding his team to a Class 9A runner-up finish, its second straight perfect regular season, a 31-3 record the past three seasons, and a state championship in 2017, the head coach told his team he was stepping down.
“I told the guys after the championship game that I loved them all and that this was my last game,” said Renner, who compiled a 47-14 record during his six years as head coach.
