Area Girls Set For Postseason

Lady Braves Play On Monday

The Langford Area girls basketball team will be the number one seed and will host a quarterfinal game of the Region 1B tournament on Tuesday, while Britton-Hecla will open postseason play on Monday.

The tournament gets underway on Monday at Webster with two play-in games between the bottom four seeds. Seedings will not be final until the completion of regular season games this week, but according to ratings through Monday night ninth-seeded Britton-Hecla would tangle with eighth-seed Great Plains Lutheran at 6 p.m. and seventh seed Wilmot would take on 10th seed Leola-Frederick at 7:30 p.m.
