Meeting as a zoning board during its regular meeting on Monday, the Britton City Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit to construct dormitory-style living quarters in the former West 10 Furniture building just west of the Britton city limits on SD Highway 10.

The Marshall County Commission tentatively decided at its regular meeting last week Tuesday to put a bond issue on the general election ballot in November for remodeling the Courthouse.
High school girls’ softball in South Dakota will start in March. The spring season was approved by the South Dakota High School Activities Association board of directors at its meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
