Graduation For B-H On Sunday

Thirty-one Britton-Hecla seniors will receive diplomas at the school’s Commencement scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Britton-Hecla Arena.

Six senior honor students gave the presentation “By the Numbers” at Langford Area’s 112th Commencement on Saturday. Speakers, left to right, were Avery West, Laney Widener, Parker Holler, Jackson Bahr, Montana Marlow and Jesse Keough.
The newly minted Langford Area graduates celebrated with the traditional gesture of throwing their caps in the air at the end of the ceremony.

Courthouse Bond Vote Pushed Back

At the Tuesday meeting of the Marshall County Commissioners, the board made the decision to wait on the bond election for the Courthouse project. Though no official date has been chosen, sometime in August looks likely. The election was originally planned for June 6 and sought to approve a $5 million bond for courthouse work.
