4-HERS DO WELL AT STATE FAIR
Marshall County 4-H was well-represented at the State Fair earlier this month. Local 4-Hers entered many static exhibits, took part in Youth in Action events and showed livestock.
Britton-Hecla is planning Homecoming next week. As always, part of the festivities include the crowning of the king and queen. This year’s candidates include back row, left to right: Ty Fagerland, Collin Beaner, Andre Herrera. Front row: Sterling Mertens, Emma Kraft, and Kaegan Fredrickson. The royalty will be crowned Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the tennis courts. The night will also include a pep rally and the traditional burning of the B-H.
B-H HOMECOMING NEXT WEEK
Homecoming at Britton-Hecla is scheduled for next week. It will be a full week of sports, team spirit, and fun.
This rendering shows plans for the new playground at Langford Area School. The district is spending over $350,000 on the equipment, a turf field, and a new sidewalk. Their current equipment was close to 25 years old. The project comes after much collaboration between the district and the parents group PAWS.
