Father Albert Cizewski of the St. John de Britto Catholic Parish in Britton will be celebrating 50 years of priesthood on Sunday. Area residents are invited to an open house to commemorate the event beginning with a dinner at noon and running to 2 p.m.

The Britton Community

The Britton Community Theatre will be performing “Begone Begonia, or Out the Window She Shall Go” at the Fort Sisseton Historical Festival June 4-6. Cast members from left to right are Chuck Vrchota, Raymond Schuster, Oliver Moeckly, Rachel Schuster, Linda Quade, Holly Wismer, Katee Freeman, and Larry Telkamp. Performances are set for Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 10 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
