This corn at the Doug and Shelly Henley farm about four miles north of Britton definitely surpassed the old “knee high by the Fourth of July” standard. Henley said crops that were planted are doing well but he was only able to plant about 35 percent of his corn acres and 20 percent of his soybeans.
