B-H To Honor 25 New Grads

Twenty-five Britton-Hecla seniors will receive their diplomas on Sunday at commencement exercises set for 2:30 p.m. at the Britton-Hecla Arena.

Senior Class officers Jaidyn Roehr, president; Kylie Carlson, vice-president; and Kordell Feldhaus, secretary-treasurer will give the commencement address.

A Senior Ensemble will sing, “Five More Minutes,” and the Britton-Hecla Concert Band will perform “Bohemian Rhapsody,” as well as playing the processional and recessional.

Superintendent Steve Benson will give the welcome, and Principal Carrie James will handle the acknowledgements. Board of Education President Nick Fosness will present the diplomas.

The Junior Class escort will be Nicholas Nelson. Sophomore Class ushers are Chris Nebrida, Dawson Wade, and Trevor Zuehlke.

Seniors chose as their class motto, “Wherever you go, go with all your heart.” Class colors are red and white with a silver accent, and the class flowers are Gerber daisies and mini-carnations.

Also recognized will be the Britton High School Class of 1969 on the 50th anniversary of its graduation.

The final day of classes for Britton-Hecla students is Friday with classes dismissed at 1 p.m. that day.
