B-H Graduation Sunday

Twenty-six Britton-Hecla seniors are scheduled to receive diplomas on Sunday at commencement exercises set for 2:30 p.m. in the Britton-Hecla Arena.

Senior Class officers Brianna Beck, president; Preston Jones, vice-president; and Cason Dinger, secretarytreasurer will give the commencement address.

A Senior Ensemble will perform, “I’ll Always Remember You,” and the B- H Concert Band will play the processional and recessional. Superintendent Steve Benson will give the welcome and Principal Carrie James will handle the acknowledgements. Board of Education President Nick Fosness will present the diplomas.

The Junior Class Escorts will be Parker Brandt, Weston Henschel, and Jaidyn Roehr. Sophomore Class ushers are Nicholas Nelson and Austin Evans.

The Senior Class Motto is, “I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.” Class colors are red and white with a silver accent, and the class flowers are red and white daisies.

Also recognized will be the Britton High School Class of 1968 on the 50th anniversary of its graduation.

The final day of classes for Britton-Hecla students is today (Wednesday) with classes dismissed at 1 p.m.
